Cornea Consulting was created by Gary Spinks to meet the modern-day needs of leaders, managers and other professionals in Education and Business.

Gary believes schools, colleges and universities can learn from the world of commerce and that companies of all sizes can benefit from some lessons from the sphere of education and learning.

Cornea - What's in the Name?
The reason for the name becomes clear when you take a look at the human eye.  Consider the function, features and qualities of the cornea.

The Cornea allows us to see in a highly advanced way.

It helps us to focus.

Clarity
The Cornea provides clarity (it represents 80 per cent of the eye's optical power)

Directs Light
It directs light through refraction and sheds light where it is needed.

The Cornea is finely tuned to pick up what's happening to the eye.

Reflexes
It reacts quickly to imminent danger or potential threats (see 'safeguard' below)

Safeguard
The Cornea is part of our response mechanism which shuts the eyelid to protect our eyes from dust, dirt or other foreign objects.

Multi-layered
Different layers perform different functions yet combine to operate for one purpose - clear sight.

Unique
The Cornea is unique.  It is the only part of the human body which does not require blood supply.
